China's insurers collected CNY430.92 billion in premiums in the first nine months of this year, up 14% from last year's CNY377.87 billion, according to data from the China Insurance Regulatory Commission.
China's insurance companies had assets of CNY1.81 trillion at the end of September, up from CNY1.438 trillion a year earlier, data issued Monday by the CIRC showed.
Bank deposits held by insurers rose to CNY554.34 billion over the same period, from CNY499.40 billion in the year-earlier period.
Insurers had total investments of CNY1.088 trillion at the end of September, up from CNY807.7 billion a year earlier, the data showed.
