Digital camera makers Ability Enterprise and Altek have reported profits for third-quarter 2011. Ability's net profit rose 134.7% sequentially to NT$415 million (US$14.3 million), while Altek's increased 9.5% to NT$300 million.

Due to impact of flooding in Thailand on components supply, Ability and Altek expect fourth-quarter revenues to decrease by 5% and 10% respectively.
