Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) saw the number of subscribers of its MOD platform increase to 980,000 at the end of September 2011 and expects the number to reach one million in November, according to the company.

CHT will launch a second MOD platform based on cloud computing technology in December 2011 to allow subscribers to watch MOD content using LCD TVs, PCs, tablet PCs and handsets.
