Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co., China’s second-biggest wind turbine maker, agreed with Powercor Australia to connect its turbines to the Australian grid.
The 13 turbines at will be located at the 19.5-megawatt Mortons Lane wind farm in Victoria state, construction of which started in October. The 1.5-megawatt turbines will be installed in February 2012, Goldwind said today in a statement.
