Lenovo released the WiFi version of its ThinkPad Tablet last month. While the device didn’t turn heads with its design or features, the ThinkPad Tablet offered a variety of features designed for corporate customers.
Today, Lenovo passed two new versions of the ThinkPad Tablet through the FCC, this time with support for 3G. FCC test reports show support for GSM 850/1900, CDMA 850/1900, and WCDMA bands II, IV and V. That means that the ThinkPad Tablet will work on most wireless carriers in the United States, including AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile, as well as most carriers Internationally. Unfortunately, however, FCC reports made no mention of LTE capabilities on the ThinkPad Tablet.
