China's software industry generated total revenues of CNY1,497.0 billion (US$230.6 billion) during January-October 2011, growing 32.9% on year, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).

The total export value of software products and services in the same period was US$23.9 billion, accounting for 10.4% of the total revenues and rising by 17.1% on year.
