There were 396 million subscribers of mobile Internet-access services in China in third-quarter 2011, increasing 7.7% sequentially, according to Analysys International.

Operators of mobile Internet-access services generated total revenues of CNY21.77 billion (US$3.396 billion) in the third quarter, growing 7.4% on quarter, Analysys indicated. Of the revenues, 43.2% came from data communications, 43.0% from mobile applications, 10.1% from online shopping and 3.8% from online advertising.
