China Sells RMB 15 bln of 1-year C. Bank Bills

   Date:2011/11/30

November 29, The People’s Bank of China, or central bank, issued RMB 15 billion ($2.4 billion) worth of 1-year bills at an unchanged yield on Tuesday.

The amount in circulation remains flat compared with a week earlier.

The maturing funds only added up to RMB 2 billion this week. 3-month bills volume slumped to RMB 1 billion, while net invested capital was RMB 22 billion. With funds due for maturity at only RMB 25 billion in December, a continuous net return in the open market is highly likely.
