Kinko Optical, which makes optical lens pieces, has reported consolidated revenues of NT$603 million (US$20 million) for November, decreasing 7.36% on month but increasing 15.04% on year. January-November consolidated revenues of NT$5.541 billion rose on year by 17.71%.
Kinko expects its consolidated revenues for December to drop further.
According to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News newspaper, Kinko will start production at its new factory in central Taiwan in late December 2011, with its total monthly capacity to increase from three million lens pieces to four million.
