Silicon Power Computer & Communications (SPCC), a Taiwan-based maker of memory modules mainly for own-brand sale, is planning for listing on the over-the-counter (OTC) bourse in Taiwan in early 2012, according to the company.

SPCC has gained firm footing in tapping Japan and Europe markets and will focus marketing in emerging markets including Russia and India, the company indicated. For the Russian market in particular, SPCC has been among the top three suppliers there with the market accounting for 30% of its total revenues, the company noted.

NAND flash modules account for 80% of SPCC's revenues currently, followed by DRAM modules with 10-15% and external hard disk drives with 5-10%, the company indicated. Of total revenues, 90% are due to own-brand sales, SPCC added.

SPCC posted revenues of NT$4.4 billion (US$152 million) and net earnings per share of NT$2.9 for January-September 2011.
