Fong's Industries Company (HKG:0641) says that it has made an application to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong for an extension of the waiver from strict compliance of maintaining the minimum public float of shares above 25%. The public float is currently 16.56%.

Trading in the shares of the company has been suspended pending the restoration of the minimum public float of 25%.
