February 3 -- Jiuzhitang (000989.SZ), a maker of traditional Chinese medicines such as donkey-hide gelatin blood tonic granules and Yiganning granules, plans to invest up to 600 million yuan worth of idle funds in short-term financial products over the next 30 months, reports China Securities Journal.
Since 2011, the company has bought a total of 420 million yuan worth of financial products from Industrial Bank (601166.SH), Bank of China (601988.SH,3988.HK) and Bank of Beijing (601169.SH), and obtained annualized return of between 5.7 percent and 6.63 percent.
According to Jiuzhitang, the investments will not impact its daily operations.
