CHINESE made-to-order chipmakers may generate more revenue in 2012 because they are competitive in the domestic and global markets, a US-based semiconductor research firm said yesterday.
IHS iSuppli said that in 2011, the chipmakers had a revenue of US$1.95 billion but it didn't give a comparison. The revenue may jump 20 percent annually in 2012, the company added.
