Deng Sheng, general manager of sales for Chinese anti-virus software developer Rising, today announced that the company is putting together required financial documentation in preparation for an IPO. Deng declined to provide further information as to the progress and timing of the listing. At present, 50% of the company's revenues come from government purchases. Rising markets its products to three business categories: small and medium-sized enterprises, large commercial enterprises, and government; government also covers military as well as energy and telecommunications industries.
