In March 2012, Linzhou Heavy Machinery issued RMB 650 million of convertible company bonds, in order to construct roadheader and coal mining machine projects. The project planned to add the roadheader production capacity of 260 units per year. The construction period for the two projects is 18 months and is estimated to be put into production in October 2013.

At present, the main products of Linzhou Heavy Machinery are hydraulic supports. It newly added a production capacity of 2,000 hydraulic supports in 2011. The main purpose of the newly constructed project is to mate the existing hydraulic supports products, adjust the product structure and raise the ability of providing completed coal mining machineries.
