SMI Corporation Limited (HKG:0198) announced that it expects to operate approximately 50 movie theaters with a total of approximately 350 screens by the end of July 2012 in China.

The group plans to continue to broaden its movie theater coverage in accordance with the actual situation of the market and the group by strengthening the development of the group in first tier cities as well as expanding its movie theaters to high growth second and third tier provinces and cities.
