Indonesia eyes 300,000 tourists from China

The Indonesian government has targeted to boost tourist arrivals from China to 300,000 from an average of 100,000 in recent years.

"Indonesia has a huge opportunity to (boost) arrivals from China. We target a 300 percent increase in arrivals from that country this year," Minister of Culture and Tourism Jero Wacik said.

Indonesia has targeted 6 million international arrivals and foreign exchange revenues of 5.4 billion US dollars in the year.
