Allied Material Technology Corporation (AMTC), a major LCD color filter (CF) maker in Taiwan, will resume production this week to produce fifth-generation (5G) CFs for HannStar Display, with monthly capacity to be 10,000 glass substrates.

HannStar has purchased CFs materials for AMTC and will have AMTC produce CFs for the maker, as AMTC does not have enough cash to purchase related materials.

In addition, China-based Info Vision Optronics (IVO) has also requested delivery of 5G CFs from AMTC.
