LANXESS AG's sales grew more than 20 percent in the first quarter of the year in China, the German chemical company said in a statement yesterday, without giving a figure.

It has chosen Nanjing in Jiangsu Province and Ningbo in Zhejiang Province as candidate places, which also include Singapore and Indian cities, to build a mega plant for ion exchange resin, used for water and waste water treatment.
