SAUDI Basic Industries Corp, the world's biggest chemical company by market value, opened two offices in China as it considers adding factories in the Asian country.
The offices are located in Beijing and Shenzhen, the company said in a statement yesterday. "Asia is a region where Sabic not only wants to supply products, but is also a region that Sabic regards as a strategically important location for future manufacturing of its products," said Sabic Chairman Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thenayan. "Within the Asia region, China is clearly the best location for this manufacturing to take place."
