SALES in China's hospitality industry grew 18 percent year on year in July to 92.3 billion yuan (US$12.1 billion), according to the latest figures from the Ministry of Commerce.
From January to July, the hotel and catering industry maintained robust growth momentum, with the retail sales volume surpassing 673 billion yuan, up 18 percent on a yearly basis and accounting for 13.7 percent of the nation's total consumption.
