THE Ministry of Commerce on the Chinese mainland will impose anti-dumping duties on the solvent methyl ethyl ketone from Taiwan, Japan and Singapore.

Its final ruling in the case yesterday said these exports constitute dumping and have inflicted losses on local manufacturers. The duties take effect on Friday and will replace interim penalties that were imposed on August 9 this year.
