Yantai Wanhua Polyurethanes Co, China's biggest maker of a chemical used in insulation foam, plans to double production over the next three years to meet rising demand for cars, housing and electrical appliances, said Bloomberg News.
Its factory in Ningbo, eastern China, will lift annual production of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate, or MDI, to 800,000 metric tons a year by 2010.
