China Overseas Land & Investment Ltd. (COLI), along with its subsidiaries, is principally engaged in property development and investment, real estate agency and management, and treasury operations. The Company operates in three segments: property development, which includes proceeds from sale of properties; property investment, which includes property rentals, and other operations, which includes revenue from real estate agency and management services, building design consultancy services and securities trading. COLI鈥檚 property development, property investment and other activities are carried out in Hong Kong, Macau and other regions in the People鈥檚 Republic of China. During the year ended December 31, 2010, it acquired 11 parcels of land in nine cities in China: Chengdu, Dalian, Zhongshan, Beijing, Suzhou, Tianjian, Xian, Guangzhou and Zhuhai.
