Luen Thai Holdings Limited (Luen Thai) and its subsidiaries are principally engaged in the manufacturing and trading of garment, textile products and accessories, and the provision of freight forwarding, logistics services and also real estate development. The Company derives revenues from the sales of casual and fashion apparel, life-style apparel, sweaters, accessories, and income from the provision of freight forwarding and logistics services. The Company鈥檚 revenue is derived from customers located in the United States of America, Europe, Japan and the People鈥檚 Republic of China, while the Company鈥檚 business activities are conducted predominantly in Hong Kong, the People鈥檚 Republic of China, Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, the Philippines and the United States. The Company鈥檚 subsidiaries include CTSI Logistics Phils., Inc., Desk Top Limited, Desk Top Bags (Mfg) Limited, Dongguan Luen Thai Garment Co., Ltd. and Dongguan Quan Thai Garment Co., Ltd.

Our journey is that of continuous change. From our humble beginning as a manufacturing company in 1983, our services now include the front and back end of the supply chain. Since 2002, Luen Thai has also embarked on a string of selective acquisitions to further build our multi-product capability. These include Glynn and Jacquelyn Manson (GJM), Tomwell Limited, and Tien Hu. Joint ventures were also made with industry giants such as Yue Yuen, TMS, Tien-Hu Group and Guangdong Foreign Trade Group Co. Ltd. In July 2004, Luen Thai listed in the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. The latest partnership involves Desk Top Limited, a leading design and manufacturing company producing laptop bags, fashion bags, backpacks, and many others.

Business Model

The design to store (D2S) is Luen Thai's business model that provides our customers with a one-stop shop of supply chain services ranging from design and development; material management; manufacturing and logistics.

It is the right business model in today's quota-free apparel industry. In a level playing field, customers are looking for suppliers that can provide more products and services, perform faster but still offer a competitive cost.

D2S answers these needs. Through D2S, we can offer speed-to-market solutions that will help our clients bring the right apparel with the right volume, to the right place and right time.

 

The Supply Chain City, located in Dongguan, China, is the realization of the D2S business model. It is a mega-facility which houses all design to store services of Luen Thai. Here, we work together with our customers and vendors in all stages of the supply chain.

Facilities that can be found in the Supply Chain City include development centers, fabric and trim innovation center, performance center, production buildings, warehouses as well as employees’ residential buildings and recreational facilities.
