Shanghai International Shanghai Growth Investment Limited is an investment holding company. The Company鈥檚 principal business is to make direct investments in operating companies and other entities established or doing business with the People鈥檚 Republic of China. It operates in two segments: listed securities, which include investments in securities listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange and unlisted securities, which include investments in unlisted securities, such as redeemable convertible preference shares and interest in an associate. The Company focuses in identifying, screening, analyzing, and conducting due diligence on investment potentials in the Greater China confine, principally in wholly foreign-owned enterprises, existing or newly established sino-foreign equity joint ventures or co-operative joint venture enterprises, joint stock companies, or other vehicles authorized for foreign investments.
