Shanghai International Shanghai Growth Investment Limited (HKG:0770) warns that its financial results for the year ended 31 December 2011 is expected to record a loss, as compared to a profit in the year of 2010, mainly due to realized losses on disposal of the company's listed securities, unrealized fair-value losses on the company's direct investments and listed securities, and a reduction in dividend income from such investments.
