Orient Overseas (International) Limited (OOIL) is a Hong Kong-based investment holding company. The Company, together with its subsidiaries, is engaged in container transport and logistics services. Container transport and logistics include global containerized shipping services in trade lanes, covering Trans-Pacific, Trans-Atlantic, Asia/Europe, Asia/Australia and Intra-Asia trades, and integrated services over the management and control of storage and flow of goods. OOIL鈥檚 wholly owned subsidiary, Orient Overseas Container Line Limited (OOCL), is an international carriers serving China, providing a range of logistics and transportation services throughout the country. As of December 31, 2010, OOCL owned 46 vessels. During the year ended December 31, 2010, it sold two units of 3,161 liner volumes (TEU). On February 10, 2010, the Company sold, its wholly owned subsidiary, Orient Overseas Developments Limited (OODL) to CapitaLand China (RE) Holdings Co. Ltd.
