OOCL (HKG:0316) announced a general rate increase on North Europe to Asia Trade, adjusting to USD$200 per container for cargo moving, in order to cover basic operating costs and transportation costs, effective from February 15.
 
Earlier, OOCL also implemented a General Rate Increase of USD$225 per TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit) for all westbound shipments from India, Pakistan and Middle East to North Europe, effective from February 8.
