China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited is engaged in the design, development, construction, management and operation of wind farms in areas with wind resources in the People鈥檚 Republic of China. The Company is also engaged in selling of electricity to the local grid companies. The Company operates in two business segments: wind power and coal power. The wind power segment constructs, manages and operates wind power plants and generates electric power for sale to external power grid companies. The coal power segment constructs, manages and operates coal power plants and generates electric power for sale to external power grid companies and coal trading business. In August 2010, the Company acquired Nantong Hongda Heat and Power Generation Co., Ltd. In September 2010, the Company acquired Jiangsu Yuantai Shipping Co., Ltd. and 60% interest in Buerjin Tianrun Wind Power Co., Ltd.
