China Longyuan Power Group (HKG:0916) announces that, according to its preliminary statistics, the power generation of its group companies for January 2012 on consolidated basis amounted to 2.2 million MWh, representing a decrease of 14.85% compared with the corresponding period of 2011.

In particular, the decrease in wind power generation and coal power generation registered 3.8% and 28.68% respectively, and other renewable energy power generation registered an increase of 128.66%.
