July 28 – Henan Province Xixia Automobile Water Pump (002536) signed an agreement to produce engine brackets for Daimler AG between 2013 and 2017, reports yicai.com, citing a company filing.

Xixia will start production in 2011 and will deliver in 2013. Based on current sales recorded by Daimler, the Chinese firm will earn revenues of 25 million yuan during that period.

Xixia was established in Nanyang city in 2001 and produces automotive water pumps, air intakes and manifold housing.
