July 19 -- Jiangsu Jiujiujiu Technology (002411) filed it will spend 140 million yuan to build facilities to accommodate 1,600 tons of new annual production capacity for lithium hexafluorophosphate, reports yicai.com. The two-year expansion project begins with an 800-ton production line, to be completed in the first half of 2012, and the second half will wrap up in the third quarter of 2013. Jiujiujiu’s total lithium hexafluorophosphate capacity will reach 2,000 tons per year after the expansion, the source noted.
Jiujiujiu also plans to spend 105 million yuan planned for annual capacities of 500 ton of GCLE and new capacity of 15,000 tons of 3,5,6-trichloropyridin-2-ol per year.
The company, which is based in Nantong county, will spend another 45 million yuan to relocate its 5,5-dimethylhydantoin capacities for further production expansion.
Jiujiujiu produces raw materials used in pharmaceutical synthesis, and most of its customers are in the pharmaceutical manufacturing and chemical manufacturing industries.
