Repsol YPF SA and Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Co., Ltd's Joint Venture announced a new oil discovery in the pre-salt area of the Campos basin, offshore Brazil. The well is operated by Repsol's joint Venture with Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Co., Ltd. Statoil ASA and Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. are also partners in the well.
