July 28 – Shanghai Electric Group Limited (601727, 0727.HK) and Beijing Kangde Xin Composite Material (002450) reported that their major shareholders increased their holdings in the firms, reports yicai.com, citing company filings.
Shanghai Electric Group obtained 1.4 million A-shares of Shanghai Electric Group Limited and raised its holding of the company’s H-shares to 30.26 million by July 27.
The group planned to acquire no more than two percent of total equity for the next 12 months, during which time it will sell neither A- nor H-shares.
Kangde Group obtained 3.86 million shares of Kangde Xin Composite Material at 22.14 yuan per share on July 25, or 1.19 percent of total equity.
Following transaction, the group had 111.23 million shares of the firm, accounting for a 34.42-percent interest.
