August 17 -- Shandong Liaherd Chemical Industry (002217.SZ) posted a 113.64-percent increase in net profit from the first half of 2011 to 44.21 million yuan, with earnings per share of 0.2 yuan, reports 163.com, citing a company filing. Revenue rose 87.91 percent year-on-year to 595 million yuan during the reporting period. Liaherd Chemical received government subsidies during the reporting period, the source noted.
Liaherd Chemical predicts its net profit will rise 140-170 percent year-on-year in the first three quarters. Its net profit was 33.06 million yuan in the same period last year.
Lianherd Chemical was founded in 1965 and manufactures and sells non-organic chemicals and chemical fertilizers.
