August 22 -- Anhui Guofeng Plastic Industry (000859.SZ) reported its net profit fell 8.79 percent year-on-year to 34.33 million yuan in the first half of 2011, with earnings per share of 0.0816 yuan, reports p5w.net. Revenue rose 29.33 percent year-on-year to 903 million yuan during the reporting period. Guofeng Plastic raised the selling price of plastic film during the reporting period

The firm received compensation of 59.27 yuan for selling a 96,933-square meter tract of industrial land in the same period last year. That yielded a net profit of 32.11 million yuan, equivalent to 85 percent of total semi-annual net profit in 2010.
