Suntech Power Holdings Co. Ltd. has introduced its new generation high-efficiency HiPerforma product line in Europe with the launch of two products, HiPerforma Pluto Vdm-295 and HiPerforma Wdm-245.
The new HiPerforma Pluto Vdm-295 is a 295W panel that utilizes 72 6-inch multicrystalline cells. It has a conversion efficiency of up to 15.2%. The product is perfect for both commercial rooftop and utility-scale electricity generation.
The 245W new HiPerforma Pluto Wdm-245 utilizes 60 6-inch polycrystalline cells and has a conversion efficiency of up to 14.8%. The product is ideal for various applications due to its universal format combined with excellent temperature behavior.
These products have positive power tolerance in the 0/+5% range and can withstand all weather conditions, including 3.800 Pascal wind load and 5.400 Pascal snow loads which is well above the Electro Technical Commission standard requirements.
Both the products are immediately available and make use of Suntech's advanced Plutocell processing technology that allows cells to absorb more sunlight and generate more electricity. These HiPerforma modules have higher efficiency with lower temperature coefficients and higher power output per watt.
These new modules extend the company’s polycrystalline product portfolio. The company had earlier introduced HiPerforma Pluto Ade-200, which is a 5 inch mono 72-cell variant with a conversion efficiency of up to 15.7%. It is best for small residential roofs.
