(NTES) officially responded that the company has no plan to sell Youdao, an internet search engine, as for the news that Microsoft Corporation is considering to acquire Youdao.
Currently, there is no news from Microsoft as for the purchasing of Youdao and NetEase has been cooperating with Microsoft all the time.
Information showed that NetEase's Youdao search engine was tested in 2006 and officially launched on December 11, 2007. Later, in addition to search applications, NetEase.com developed a series of other applications under the Youdao search brand, including shopping assistant, Youdao dictionary, translation, bafang.163.com, note and reading, etc.
