Aug. 2011 is the peak season of construction machinery industry in China. Sales volume of excavator, crane and bulldozer all presented smaller decline rate YoY, whereas sales volume growth rate of loading machine increased YoY. Besides, other products (except bulldozer) all realized month-on-month growth on varying degrees.

In terms of excavator, sales volume of domestic brands reached 829 sets in Aug., down -2.47% YoY while slightly declined month-on-month. However, performance of leading enterprises maintained sound increasing trend, wherein Guangxi Liugong Machinery (000528.SZ), Sunward Intelligent Equipment (002097.SZ) and Xiamen XGMA Machinery (600815.SH) reached sales volume of 425 sets, 266 sets and 241 sets respectively, up 23.55%, 3.91% and 69.72% YoY, and up 8.42%, 16.67% and 32.42% month-on-month separately.
In the aspect of loading machine, leading enterprises performed robustly. Sales volume of Guangxi Liugong Machinery, Shandong Lingong Construction Machinery and Xiamen XGMA Machinery reached 3,763 sets, 3,079 sets, and 2,730 sets in Aug. respectively, up 36.7%, 44.7% and 33.1% YoY, and up 19.6%, 9.66% and 24.37% month-on-month separately. Comparatively, sales volume of Lonking Machinery slightly decreased to 2,427 sets in Aug.
