In Q3 2011, Zhejiang Hailide New Material Co., Ltd. (002206.SZ) realized operating revenue of RMB1.83 billion, with a YoY increase of 57.6%; operating income of RMB190 million, with a YoY increase of 87.1%. The income growth is mainly due to the release of the 98 thousand ton/year polyester chip capacity and 25 thousand ton/year differential industrial yarn capacity on Apr.2010 and Jun.2010 respectively.

The release of polyester chip capacity has greatly improved the self sufficiency of the company and reduced the purchase cost of raw materials; while the technical innovation project of differential industrial yarns has improved the differential ratio of products from 75% to 85% (highest in China). Till Oct.2010, Hailide has owned industrial polyester yarn capacity of 120 thousand tons, including 40 thousand tons of high strength yarns, 26 thousand tons of high modulus low shrinkage yarns, 35 thousand tons of low shrinkage and ultralow shrinkage yarns, 15 thousand tons of seat belt yarns, 3,000 tons of airbag yarns and 1,000 tons of color yarns.
