STUTTGART, Germany, Nov 08, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Johnson Electric today announced the V3NS micro switch under the Burgess switch brand. The switch is designed specifically for use in forklift truck braking applications, where the highest reliability is required in severe operating environments. The switch exceeds IP67 requirements and performs reliably under severe operating conditions such as cement dust, extreme temperatures, high vibration and shock, salt spray and wet environments. The V3NS switch also sets a new electrical performance standard with the highest current rating and longest life in material handling applications.
The V3NS switch expands the existing Johnson Electric materials handling switch portfolio which covers all switch applications in forklift trucks including:
-- Subminiature switches for Tiller Head and Seat Interlock functions.
