Sunwave Communications (002115.SZ) is a manufacturer of mobile communication network optimization equipment and a system integrator providing network optimization solutions. Its operating revenue increased by 18.23% YoY to RMB750 million in the first three quarters; while its net income accumulated to RMB68 million, up 16.81% YoY; gross margin was up 1.83% YoY to 34.85%.

In terms of network optimization hardware, market share of Sunwave’s test system takes the lead. Its sales volume is expected to reach 350 units in 2011, which will add revenue of RMB49 million with gross margin of about 50%. As for network optimization software, its uplink interference analysis pilot project has received success in three provinces. Its planned revenue is RMB20 million in 2011, with gross margin of 60% approximately. 

In addition, as one of the first enterprises joined CMMB work team, Sunwave has conducted several CMMB indoor coverage system projects. In June 2011, it transmitter got approved by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Besides, in July, it won 6 out of 7 biddings of CBC (China Broadcast Corporation) and started business in Beijing, Shanghai, Liaoning, Henan, Zhejiang, Anhui and Jiangsu etc.
