Gasgoo.com (Shanghai November 14) - Jaguar Land Rover has officially announced what vehicles will be at the frontlines for the upcoming Guangzhou International Motor Show, mycar168.com reported today. Land Rover will present the new Range_e Concept at this year's event. It will also be bringing over the Range Rover Sport and the limited Christmas version of the Freelander 2.
The event will mark the official Asian debut of the Range_e concept (pictured), which was first announced at the Geneva Motor Show held at the beginning of this year. The hybrid Range_e, which is based on the Range Rover Sport, will be equipped with a 3.0 L TDV6 diesel engine and a plug-in style motor system mated to a ZF-made eight-speed automatic transmission. It will reportedly cut carbon dioxide emissions down to a mere 89 grams per km.
Meanwhile, Jaguar will bring over the all aluminum body of next year's XJ sedan, which is both stiffer and wider than if made from steel. The Jaguar stand will also include the 2012 XF, XKR and XKR-S, among other offerings.
