November 15 -- China Coal Energy (601898.SH, 1898.HK) recorded a 13.2 percent year-on-year increase in coal production to 8.56 million tons in October, while coal sales rose 20.1 percent to 11.19 million tons, reports yicai.com, citing a company filing.
The company produced 180,000 tons of coking coal in October, up 5.9 percent year-on-year.
A total of 8.5 million tons of coal were sold to domestic buyers in October, an increase of 13.5 percent year-on-year. Coal exports in the same month fell 54.5 percent to 50,000 tons.
During the first 10 months, China Coal Energy recorded an 8.2 percent year-on-year rise in coal production to 85.82 million tons.
