China’s hydroelectric power generating capacity fell 15.1% year-on-year to 50.1 billion kilowatt hours in October, 5 percentage point lower than in September, according to the National Reform and Development Commission.
The adjustable water of key national hydropower plants rose 15.1% to 120.7 billion cubic meters. The hydropower reserve of China's main hydropower plants grew 24.9% from a month earlier to 35.1 billion kilowatt hours.
On a yearly basis national crude oil production in October declined by 6% to 16.52 million tons; imported crude oil rose 0.4% to 19.88 million tons; crude oil and oil products production was roughly flat; and the apparent consumption of refined oil products rose 3.4% to 21.24 million tons, with a 7.3% and 2.2% increase in gasoline and diesel oil.
