Gasgoo.com (Shanghai November 23) - Volvo's upcoming V60 will be sold in China next January as an import model, the Beijing Times reported today.

The announcement was made by Richard Snijders, CEO and executive officer of Volvo China, at the floor of the Guangzhou International Motor Show, Auto Guangzhou 2011, currently going on this week. The Volvo V60T6 R-Design (pictured) made its Chinese debut yesterday.

The V60, which is based on the S60, will be sold as an import model for a limited amount of time, Mr. Snijders said. 999 V60s in three different colors will be sold.
