China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) today announced the operational status of national communications industry in Jan-Oct, 2011.  The data shows that from January to October, the national telecom business  revenue totaled 971.91 billion yuan, up 15.7 percent year-on-year; the main telecom business revenue totaled 818.78 billion yuan, up 9.9%.

The report also noted that in Jan-Oct,2011, mobile revenue totaled 592.24 billion yuan, up 14.0% year-on-year; meanwhile, fixed revenue totaled 226.55 billion yuan, up 0.5%.
