Chinese telecom giant China Unicom (Hong Kong) Ltd. CHU(sehk:0762)(and shse:600050) on December launched pre-paid international roaming visit business for 14 countries including Denmark and Portugal.

Source familiar with the matter indicated that China Unicom successively launched pre-paid international roaming service for pre-paid users to visit such 14 countries including Czekh and Finland starting from December 1, 2011.

In addition, the company also adjusted pre-paid international roaming charges standard for 24 countries and regions including South Korea and the UK. The roaming charges standard for Macao has been regulated as well.
