Wasion Group  announced that on 12 December 2011, the State Grid announced the bidding results of the fifth centralized tender on smart meters, in which it won contracts for 1.25 million units of smart meters with a contract value of RMB311.9 million (HK$381.64 million).

Wasion has also won contracts on data collection terminals for 51,000 units with a contract value of RMB62.65 million (HK$76.66 million).

Up to December 13, Waison won contracts with an accumulated value of RMB1.024 billion (HK$1.252 billion) in the State Grid's centralized bidding in 2011.
